Stylist: Welcome. What would you like done today?

客きゃく髪かみが伸のびてきたので、全体ぜんたいを短みじかくしてください。三さんセンチほどお願ねがいします。

Customer: My hair has grown out, so please cut it shorter all over. About three centimetres, please.

美容師びようしかしこまりました。耳みみは出だしますか、それとも隠かくしたままにしますか。

Stylist: Certainly. Would you like your ears showing, or covered as they are?

客きゃく耳みみが見みえるくらいにしてください。前髪まえがみは眉まゆにかからない長ながさでお願ねがいします。

Customer: Please cut it so the ears show. And leave the fringe just short of my eyebrows.

美容師びようし承知しょうちしました。では、先さきにシャンプーをいたしますので、奥おくの席せきへどうぞ。

Stylist: Understood. I'll shampoo your hair first, so please come to the seat at the back.

客きゃくはい。お湯ゆの温度おんど、ちょうどいいです。

Customer: Sure. The water temperature is just right.

美容師びようしありがとうございます。……後うしろの仕上しあがりを鏡かがみでご確認かくにんください。いかがでしょうか。

Stylist: Thank you. ...Please check the back in the mirror. How does it look?

客きゃくちょうどいい長ながさです。軽かるくなって、とても気きに入いりました。

Customer: The length is just right. It feels much lighter - I really like it.
