According to one agricultural experiment station, in years when high summer temperatures continue for a long time, harvested rice grains tend to turn cloudy and white more often.

こうした状況じょうきょうを受うけ、高温こうおんでも品質ひんしつが落おちにくい稲いねの品種ひんしゅの開発かいはつが各地かくちで進すすめられており、一部いちぶの地域ちいきではすでに試験しけん栽培さいばいが始はじまったとみられる。
