Khảo sát: sinh viên đọc sách trung bình 20 phút mỗi ngày

ある大学だいがくの研究けんきゅうグループは、学生がくせいを対象たいしょうに行おこなった調査ちょうさで、授業じゅぎょう以外いがいの読書どくしょ時間じかんが一日いちにち平均へいきん二十分にじゅっぷん程度ていどだったと発表はっぴょうした。

A research group at a university has announced that, in a survey of students, reading time outside class averaged only about twenty minutes a day.

調査ちょうさによると、「ほとんど本ほんを読よまない」と答こたえた学生がくせいは全体ぜんたいのおよそ半数はんすうに上のぼり、理由りゆうとしては「時間じかんがない」「何なにを読よめばよいか分わからない」といった回答かいとうが目立めだったという。

According to the survey, about half of all students answered that they "hardly read books at all", and the most common reasons given were "no time" and "not knowing what to read".

一方いっぽうで、電子でんし書籍しょせきやスマートフォンで記事きじを読よむ時間じかんを含ふくめると、文字もじに触ふれる時間じかん自体じたいは大おおきく減へってはいないとみられる。

On the other hand, if time spent reading e-books or articles on smartphones is included, the time students spend with written text itself is not thought to have fallen greatly.

調査ちょうさに関かかわった教員きょういんは「読書どくしょを義務ぎむにするのではなく、興味きょうみの入口いりぐちを増ふやすことが大切たいせつだ」と話はなした。
